GlobalSign IoT Security Expert to Participate in Three Industry Events in May to Discuss the Importance of IoT Security

This includes the Industrial Internet Consortium’s (IIC) Security Forum on May 10, IoT World on May 16 and IoT North America on May 31, where GlobalSign’s Director of Product Management for the IoT, Nisarg Desai, will both present a session as well as participate on a panel.

At these events, Desai will address topics ranging from how to maintain the authenticity of IoT devices during manufacturing and through the subsequent supply chain to a case study on how the package delivery industry can use a combination of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) for identity tracking, and Blockchain for transport logistics tracking. He will also be speaking about some of the costs and business implications for IoT security including who is ultimately responsible for securing these devices.
