The solution enables greatly improved document security while maintaining control over how signed contract PDFs are being created, updated, and distributed

USAFact is utilizing DSS to provide a secure, streamlined contract signing process for the field representatives of its customer, Service Experts.

Heating, air conditioning, and plumbing provider Service Experts recently launched a new offering designed to simplify the customer experience. But this required sales representatives to have the ability to create secure contracts in customers’ homes. Service Experts worked with USAFact to develop a web application that walked the sales representatives through the different calculations, allowing them to enter information as necessary before creating a PDF that could be electronically signed and locked down. When it became apparent the initial solution would be considered untrusted, USAFact began the search for a better solution. Ultimately, USAFact chose GlobalSign for a customized digital signing application that was deployed in just four months.

Upon completion of the initial pilot program, Service Experts will roll out DSS to its 94 U.S. locations, to be used by 600 service representatives in the field. Service Experts and its customers can rest assured that any information collected will remain valid and secure, now and into the future.
