Chief Financial Officer
Hiroshi Sano serves as GlobalSign's Chief Financial Officer.
In this role, he is responsible for establishing and strengthening the company's financial management and internal control/compliance functions.
Mr. Sano brings over 20 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and financial management, with extensive expertise in both Japan and the United States. He began his career at a leading audit firm, where he led broad-based audit engagements for major trading companies, manufacturers, and logistics firms, gaining deep knowledge of Japanese GAAP (JGAAP), US GAAP, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
In addition to his auditing background, Mr. Sano served as Senior Director at a U.S.-based commodity trading company, where he was responsible for financial planning and compliance in a highly dynamic market environment. This combination of audit and industry experience has enabled him to play a central role in establishing and overseeing financial management, internal control, and compliance departments, supporting the company's growth in the energy sector.
Certified Public Accountant (Japan), graduated from Waseda University School of Commerce.
