Generate a Certificate Signing request (CSR) on Plesk

  1. Login to the Plesk 9 Control Panel.
  2. Select the settings option from the left Menu.

  4. Under Security, select SSL Certificate.

  6. From the SSL Certificates Menu, select Add SSL Certificate.

  8. Enter the relevant information in the certificate information (CSR) section.

  10. Once completed, select the Request button on the right hand side.
  11. When returned to the SSL Certificate section, select the new certificate request name.

  13. Your CSR will be avaliable from that screen and can be used in our ordering system.






    Plesk (previous versions)

  1. Login to the Plesk Control Panel.
  2. Clicking on the Domains button. The Domain List page appears.
  3. Click the domain name that you want to secure with SSL.

  5. Click the Certificate button.

  7. Click the add button. The SSL Certificate setup page appears.

  9. Enter the relevant information in the Certificate Information section.

    (ALL Fields with * must be completed) - Bits length MUST now be at least 2048 (not 1024).

  11. Click on the Request button displayed to the right of your details.
  12. Plesk will now email your CSR to the email address provided when you signed up. You will see that the email contains two sections – the RSA Private Key and the Certificate Signing Request. Do not lose your RSA Private Key, you will need this later.
