GlobalSign to hold panel discussion on Third-party Trust Providers and SSL Best Practices

Noted experts from Qualys & F5 Networks join GlobalSign CTO at Infosecurity Europe 2012

Boston, MA - April 18 2012 - GlobalSign (, one of the leading providers of Digital Certificates worldwide, today announced it will be holding a panel discussion at this year's Infosecurity Europe 2012, (Earls Court, London). The panel will discuss the theme "Third-party Trust Providers, SSL, and what we have learned" in the Information Security Exchange Theatre on Wednesday April 25, 2012, 2:15pm.

Joining Ryan Hurst, CTO at GlobalSign, will be Ivan Ristic, Director of Engineering at Qualys, and David Holmes, Technical Marketing Manager at F5 Networks. The panel will give insight into how Certificate Authorities maintain issuance practices, provide advice to how CISOs should approach trust providers and risk, and provide best practice advice for how IT Managers should implement SSL on corporate servers/networks. The panel will also deliberate the evolving role of third-party trust providers discussing what changes are being proposed to augment existing security technologies, and how these changes may affect the industry as a whole going forward.
