If you lose your private key and cannot install your SSL Certificate, do not worry since you can receive a new Certificate free of charge by following the steps below.

    Generate a new CSR from your web server. This reissue guide is focused on people who have ordered with creating their own CSR file. For Auto CSR Orders you do not need to create a new CSR

    Note: IIS users must NOT use the ‘Renew current certificate’ option in IIS. click here for more info for IIS users

  1. Log into your GlobalSign Certificate Centre (GCC) account and select ‘Order History / Renew’ from the left-hand side menu under the Reporting & Renewals Title.

    2. Reissue Certificate

  2. Select the ‘Edit’ button next to the certificate details
  3. On the next page, select the button ‘Reissue Certificate’ from the top of the page
  4. You may then see the option to select how you want to Rissue your Certificate. We want to select the button that says "Certificate reissue with your new CSR". Paste your new CSR into the text area and click ‘Confirm’

  5. Check your details and select ‘Confirm’

  6. You will then get a final confirmation page. Click on the button "Request for Reissue". The system will take a few minutes to create a new certificate for you.
  7. Go back to Order History / Renew where you′ll see the details of the reissued certificate.You will see there is a new Order number associated with your newly reissue certificate.
