OrganizationSSL & DomainSSL certificates can be reissued as many times as you require for the entire validity period of the certificate you purchased

So if you lose your private key, simply generate a new Certificate Signing Request (CSR), log into your Global Certificate Centre account (GCC), go to Certificate Application History, and you will see your certificate order(s) details.

Select the Edit button next to the appropriate certificate order detail(s) and on the next page scroll to the very bottom and select Certificate Reissue.

Paste your CSR into the text box on the next and final page, then select Submit and finally Request Reissue, and your new certificate will be emailed to you shortly

ExtendedSSL certificates cannot be reissued because for each certificate request we must perform our strict vetting process. If you lose your private key, email support@globalsign.com and place a new certificate request. We can only guarantee to refund you for the entire amount if you request a new certificate within 7 days of your original certificate being issued.
