Generate a Certificate Signing request (CSR) on Plesk 10

Global Support Centre > SSL Certificates > Plesk 10 > Generate a CSR

  1. Login to the PLESK Control Panel.

  2. Please select “Tools & Utilities”.

    Note: this location may be under the server tab at the top or from the left column.

    or

  3. Choose the SSL certificates option.

  4. To generate a CSR, please Select Add SSL certificate

  5. Please fill in the CSR fields to request a certificate.

    Note: Below there is an example of what should go in each field and it needs to be replaced with your details.

  6. When Requested, your CSR will available from the certificate list.

    Plesk will also email your CSR to the email address provided when you signed up. You will see that the email contains two sections – the RSA Private Key and the Certificate Signing Request. Do not lose your RSA Private Key, you will need this later.

    Note:(ALL Fields with * must be completed) - Bits length MUST now be at least 2048 (not 1024).
