The total validity period will not exceed 5 years for DomainSSL and OrganizationSSL. Note that ExtendedSSL will not have additional time added to the new Certificate. Instead you receive a 2 year Certificate for the price of a 1 year Certificate. Customers switching to the manually vetted OrganizationSSL or ExtendedSSL will need to submit relevant paperwork. The vetting department will advise during the application process.
