Intranet SSL / Subject Alternative Names (SANs)

SSL Certificate Options

The Intranet option allows you to specify Subject Alternative Names (SAN) within the certificate. Browsers recognize that the certificate can be used on both a Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) such as www.domain.com and SANs such as "localhost" or "exchange5542". This ensures that SSL can be used successfully across your entire internal network / intranet.

Note: At this time the GlobalSign Intranet SANs option supports local / internal hostnames only and does not support the inclusion of Fully Qualified Domain Names (FQDNs). If you require the use of SANs please contact Sales for more information on the upcoming availability of this feature.
