Johan Sys is responsible for GlobalSign’s presence in the Americas as CEO and Board Member.
Johan has worked within GlobalSign for a number of years, joining initially as Product Manager in 2000. He was appointed General Manager of GlobalSign in 2002 where he held this role until being appointed CEO of US operations in 2007. During his years at GlobalSign, Johan has been responsible for general operations, sales and channel activities, the support organization and driving the strategy that has seen GlobalSign earn a worldwide reputation as a credible and respected security vendor.
After the acquisition of GlobalSign by CyberTrust in 2004, Johan assumed a dual responsibility role as General Manager for GlobalSign and Senior Director of Managed Identities for CyberTrust where he was responsible for its turnkey and Managed PKI line of business. Johan’s thorough understanding of the enterprise security market and combination of technical and business acumen resulted in a significant growth within the business unit – exceeding US$10m in 2006.
Johan is CISSP certified and holds an MBA from OU Business School.
