GlobalSign Beginnings
From its earliest beginning GlobalSign has been a leader in public trust services. In 1996 it established a code of conduct around trust and trustworthiness (which included a market wide comprehensive liability for all its operations and actions). Over the years, these guiding principles have formed GlobalSign into being one of the most credible and trusted Certification Authorities in the world.
A prestigious history, a long term future
GlobalSign has a rich history of investors, including ING Bank and Vodafone. Since late 2006 GlobalSign has become a GMO Internet Inc group company - a public company quoted on the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE: 9449). This credible background, expert staff and clear vision has helped GlobalSign become a leading entity in digital certificate based security, operating many prestigious Government projects. The GlobalSign Partner network includes a number of well established affiliates, addressing enterprise customers in all territories throughout the globe.
